This module describes the necessary steps for the construction of a low-cost mechanical oscillator

1. Understand the physical foundations of mechanical oscillator operation of the PhysicsSensor platform.

2. Explain how to use the PhysicsSensor platform mechanical oscillator.

3. Describe the procedure to follow for the construction of the mechanical oscillator of the PhysicsSensor platform.

The following figure illustrates different views of the mechanical oscillator of the PhysicsSensor platform. It is a 100W speaker (it could be a different value) to which a funnel is attached that allows you to hold the objects that will be made to oscillate (rope, plates, rods,...). For its good presentation and to provide protection, the two circular plates are used (the plans of these provided here correspond to a 6 cm central hole for the purposes of the speaker used).
